HKDI Lecture

Design Thinking for Smart City. A smart city is a learning system that utilises technology to collect data and inform various parties to make decisions about improving people's lives. With technology we can better understand where are the specific social, economic, structural, safety, or technology gaps, but can we truly appreciate human needs? Do we look for challenges that everybody has or we solve for specific needs that matter now? Join us in the discussion of these and more critical questions through presenting Design thinking as a vital tool in understanding human needs in smart city development.
