Richard is Associate Director at RAD, a planning, architecture and design firm. Prior to which he worked between London and the Middle East from 1989 to 1991 on urban planning, mixed use, museums and sports buildings. In 1992 he settled in Hong Kong working with award winning firms on the Hong Kong International Airport and Ground Transportation Centre, Tung Chung New Town, HACTL, and public housing project Verbena Heights, from 1992 to 1999.
In 2000 to 2005 Richard joined RAD as Senior Associate working on award winning projects the W Hotel Seoul, architecture and interiors, the SK Telecom Headquarters and the Grand Sheraton Hotel redevelopment in Seoul, the Grand Promenade Residence and Luxury Clubhouse, Hong Kong.
In 2005 he returned to the Middle East for eight years working with multidisciplinary corporations working on architectural and interior design mixed use developments in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Dubai, where he designed the Iris Bay tower exploring the future of eco building and worked extensively on the Executive Towers at Business Bay the project incorporates eleven residential towers with, retail, health spa club, sales centre and executive residences.
He returned to Hong Kong in 2012, working on mixed use developments and in 2015 Richard re-joined RAD as Associate Director working on projects in the region.
